Secret Creek is a vegan event space for rustic weddings and special events, tucked away in a wildlife sanctuary just west of the Blue Mountains.
OUR SPACE
Secret Creek has been open since 2003. It has been operated for 18 years by the same local family who have been in Lithgow for 6 generations.
Our vegan eatery and full service event space is located within Secret Creek Sanctuary. This 200 acre native wildlife Sanctuary was established in 2003. It is home to Eastern Quolls, Dingos, Koalas, Mountain Pygmy Possums, Tasmanian Devils, long-nosed Potoroos, Rufous Bettongs, Spotted-tailed Quolls, Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies, Cream-striped Red-necked Pademelons, Swamp Wallaby, Emus, Brush Turkeys, Cape Barron Geese and a range of other native birds.
Secret Creek is situated in one of the most beautiful and unique areas on this side of the Blue Mountains. Although only 5 minutes from the centre of Lithgow, Secret Creek is tucked up in a tranquil and secluded gully, surrounded by natural bushland.
Secret Creek Sanctuary is also the site of many important environmental conservation programs, facilitated by the not-for-profit organisation Australian Ecosystems Foundation Inc.

OUR FOOD
In 2015 we changed our menu to 100% vegan! This is because we believe that our menu should be a reflection of our values and we want to be an active part of creating the type of world we'd like to live in.
One of the most effective things we can do for the health of our planet is to eat sustainably. This is why we choose to serve only plant-based food.
Ultimately, we decided to put our values front and centre, and work towards creating a future where all animals are valued.

Secret Creek offers a perfect balance between a private, secluded, rural ambiance and central location.
Many of our wedding parties choose to hold their ceremony here on site in an Australian bush setting within Secret Creek Sanctuary, or on the lawns or decks of the restaurant itself with the surround of native animals and bushland.
This unique environment is coupled with the convenience of having your ceremony, photographs and reception in the one location, just minutes from the city of Lithgow and only around 2 hours drive from Sydney.
IN-HOUSE OFFERINGS
We specialise in creative, seasonal, elevated, plant based comfort food that is as unique as it is delicious. We use in-season, native, wild foraged and locally grown produce to curate each individual set menu.
On Friday and Saturday nights, you’ll have the choice of a seasonal three course or one of our signature five course degustations.
Our lunch services are five courses, designed to share, showcasing the best seasonal produce of the region.
Everything is always 100% vegan. We can cater for any other allergies by request, please let us know in your booking. Please also let us know if you’re celebrating a special occasion too, we love to help you create incredible memories, around beautiful vegan food.
